The 200DX dual beam system uses two sonar beams at the same time for better performance. A precise enter beam locates fish and detailed bottom structure wider beams can not show, while a wide beam locates fish around your boat in an area equal to your depth – in 20 foot of water the wide beam covers an area 20 foot wide! The fish in the center beam are solid, fish in the wide beam are hollow.
